FAQ
What counts as proof of address on Stake?
Typically a recent utility bill, bank statement or official letter showing your name and address. The accepted list is shown on the verification page and can change by country.
How recent must it be?
Our KYC levels guide describes documents from roughly the last 90 days. Always check the requirement shown on the verification page.
Can I use a screenshot or phone bill?
Use the format the page asks for, and a full, unedited document. Screenshots of partial pages are often refused.
My name is not on the bill. What now?
Use a document in your own name. A document in someone else's name will usually be refused.
